Our story
A tradition that started with unity, and never stopped
Inspired by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak's vision of public Ganeshotsav and Shiv Jayanti as occasions for people to come together, श्री सिद्धिविनायक सांस्कृतिक मंडळ (रजि.) has carried that spirit forward within our own community since 2005 — preserving our cultural traditions while staying mindful of our social responsibility.
That responsibility showed itself clearly during the COVID-19 pandemic, floods in Kolhapur, Chiplun and Sangli, and cyclones — when the Mandal organised essential supplies and support for residents and affected communities alike. Every year, alongside a joyous public Ganeshotsav, we also come together for Shiv Jayanti, International Women's Day, Rangapanchami, Kojagiri Pournima, Christmas celebrations, and health and blood-donation drives.
Shiv Jayanti Utsav
In the spirit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Alongside Ganeshotsav, the Mandal honours Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's legacy of courage and unity every year through Shiv Jayanti Utsav — a celebration of the values that continue to guide our community.
